Small Business Digital Grants for Keycomm Web-Design and SEO

About the Program

This grant program can assist smaller businesses to access the digital technologies and services (like Keycomm's Web Design, Maintenance and SEO) to help them improve efficiency and engage with the global economy more.

Funding Available

Matched funding up to $10,000 (excl. GST) may be provided to eligible businesses for the purchase of software (like Keycloud Backup Server), hardware, and services (like Keycomm Web Services). The minimum funding for a grant is $1,000. Remember to show how the digital technology or service will enhance the digital capabilities for your business. To be eligible your business must:

  • • Have less than 20 employees at the time of applying
  • • Have an ABN and be registered ffor GST
  • • Have headquarters in Queensland
  • • Have a turnover of $2 million of less in the previous financial year
  • • not be insolvent or have owners or directors that are an undischarged bankrupt.

Only one application will be accepted from an individual ABN or a financial beneficiary of the business. Successful applicants cannot reapply for funding inder this grant program in future rounds. In addition your business must be in a financial position to pay up front for whatever approved products(s) and/or service(s) in full. If successful applicants will then be reimbursed after submitting supplier invoices and proof of purchase.


Round five has now opened and closes at 5pm on 8/10/2018.

You will be advised if the application was successful.


If you are eligible, your application will be prioritised on the basis of:

  • • the impact the digital technology or service will have on the business (measured by revenue growth, increase in gross profit, time savings, employment outcomes)
  • • the extent to which the digital technology or service will enhance the digital capabilities of the business to make the business more competitive
  • • the potential and likelihood the activity will deliver jobs growth
  • • value for money.

Upon project completion, successful applicants will receive reimbursement commensurate to 50% of the total cost, up to the approved funding amount.

Receiving payments:

  • • complete and submit an acquittal report through SmartyGrants
  • • issue a valid tax invoice to the Department of Employment, Small Business and Training
  • • submit copies of supplier invoices and proof of purchase for the total project cost.
