Choosing the right speed on the nbn™ network

Australia’s new broadband network comes with a choice of superfast speeds^.

nbn™ 25*, nbn™ 50* and nbn™ 100*.
As a wholesaler, we can only offer these speeds to the phone and internet service providers that you deal with on a regular basis. This means choosing the right speed and plan through your service provider is vital if you want to transform your online experience into something spectacular.
When selecting your plan, keep in mind that 25Mbps or above is considered a superfast broadband speed^. Check out our guide below for a breakdown on each speed tier and then talk to your phone and internet service provider about the plan that suits your needs.

Not all speeds greater than nbn™ 25 are available at all premises.

nbn™ 12

Retail plans based on nbn™ 12 are suitable for households with basic phone or internet usage. nbn™ 12 is not considered a superfast broadband plan. nbn™ 12 may be similar to what many households or businesses in Australia may experience on ADSL2. Speak to your phone and internet provider about the plan that best suits your needs.

Keep in mind that nbn is a wholesaler

This means that NBN co do not sell directly to the public. To connect to the nbn™ network, you need to speak to your phone and internet service provider. Remember, your actual speeds are determined by your provider and the plan you choose, and may also vary depending on things like their network capacity, your equipment, time of day and your location.
